a1customs.com is a website that came about as of the result of over 30 years in the Automotive Industry.
Our founder Jim has been in the automotive business for over 30 Years and has been involved in prototyping and custom designs for or worked for many major OEM (original equipment manufacturers), distributors and even dealers and of course other large corporations. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, FIAT, Bertone, Pininfarina, Lancia, SAAB, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Jeep, Subaru, Volvo and more...
Many of Jim's inventions are a result of knowledge and experience, and those years of skill and know how are part of everything he designs, from Custom Cars & Vehicles to custom designed products~ to innovative problem solving products that help reliability and safety, and more.
"a1customs" internet presence was established before 1993 and Jim has had the email address "a1customs(AT)aol.com" since then, and during that time the name a1customs has become sort of synonymous with; Custom Cars & Vehicles, Custom Performance Products and innovative and ground breaking product designs, top quality, dependability and automotive excellence. We are the Manufacturer of most of the products we offer!
Although still much in to Customs Cars and Designs, a large portion of this website is geared to provide helpful information and custom designed products for vehicles, with a main focus on products designed to help resolve the reliability and driveabilty issues of the GM 6.5 Liter Diesel and Turbo Diesel Engines.
The need for innovative leading design products was there and word about Jim's work and the great products spread, and then due to the many inquiries and interest in them a decision was made add a branch to the existing Automotive businesses and offer the innovative custom products to the public, and after extensive development and thorough testing the products were made available.
Many of the fine products offered here are used on; AMBULANCES/RESCUE VEHICLES, FIRE Department, ARMY, NAVY, Air Force, Marines & Other Military and other Fleet vehicles that demand RELIABILITY!
