The Bihar Board intermediate 2018 result has been prepared along with the merit list. Now BSEB has started verification of the toppers. Verification of all students included in the top 30 is being done to maintain confidentiality in this result. The topper is being called at different places in Patna. After which the verification of the toppers will last for 4 to 5 days. In addition to the toppers, their parents are also being called. After taking the interview of toppers in this process, the copies of all the subjects will be checked from the Expert.
Intermediate students will get Grace points
There is also a good news for the students of Bihar Board Intermediate. The rules for giving grace marks to the needy candidates have also been fixed. This time students will be given grace marks up to 10 percent. However, if there is a failure in the language subject, any kind of grace marks will not be given. According to the rules of this board, the total score of any student is 75 percent and if anyone is failing in one subject, the board gives the Grace marks to a maximum of 10 percent to get it passed. This decision has been taken by the Board for the first time, giving maximum 10 percent grace marks. However, before this, the board used to give a maximum of 8% in one subject and 4% in two topics.
Regular students will gain the advantage
Let us tell you that 10% grace points will be given to the regular students only. This year in 2018, around 12 lakh students took part in the 12th examination of Bihar Board. In order to organize this examination, 1,384 centers were established.
The intermediate result of the Bihar Board of the past year was extremely disappointing. After the toppers scam, the result of all the three stream resulted in a huge decline. Combining the three streams, the result was only 35.24 percent. In the last year, 12,40,168 students joined the three streams of intermediate examination. Out of this, only 4,37,115 students passed. 30.11 percent in science stream, 37.13 percent in arts and 73.76 percent in commerce. Although the situation was slightly fine in 2016, 62.19 percent students were successful this year.
Updates: The results of Class 12 will be announced on June 7 while the results of Class 10th will be announced on June 20. As per reports, the confirmation of the same was given by BSEB chairman Sri Anand Kishore on May 26.
